About the art: in Digital Rain, the journey from sky to precipitation unfolds through the transformation of deep, concentrated blues at the top - like heavy storm clouds pregnant with moisture - into lighter forms below, mimicking the dispersion of rainfall. The grid-like pattern creates a beautiful tension between nature's fluidity and human attempts to measure it, while the varying opacities and intensities of blue capture that magical moment when water transforms from cloud to droplet as storm clouds gradually release their burden in an ordered chaos of falling rain.

About the jewelry: the Blue Moon Neckpiece features lapis lazuli, blue lace agate, carnelian, sapphire and two hand-fabricated and textured hollow form beads on hand-knotted blue-grey silk. True blue Moons are incredibly rare and are unrelated to the Moon's phases. Volcanic ashes and smoke, water droplets in the air and certain types of clouds can all contribute to a Full Moon taking on a blue shade on the rarest of occasions.
